My name is Cindy Williams Troke and “I am Me!”

I am a proud (empty nest) mother of two handsome, sweet young men. They are the reasons I aspire to be the best version of myself each and every day! I am an enthusiastic dog lover and owner. When I'm not painting, you can find me hiking and spending time at the beach with my sweetest companion “Annie”, the Portuguese Water Dog are a couple of my favourite leisure activities. I also find comfort in gardening, listening to music, cooking and losing track of time over a deep-meaningful conversation.

I have a compassionate, charismatic, understanding, fun-loving soul. My life’s goal is to inspire others to be themselves. I have a unique gift for reading the energy in a room and making true human connections. I accept, grow and strive with a simple basis in mind of being authentic and real…be one’s true self!
Growing up in a tiny town on the Eastport Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador allowed me to build an unbreakable foundation for how I live my life. As a child I felt a deep connection with nature; all earthly things! There was always an adventure to be had when I was outside. Peacefully freeing is how I can best describe it.
That feeling is what ignited my intrigue in the Arts. I recall picking up my first pencil to sketch and journal at a very young age. I remember then finding a whole new world to explore, a world within myself; And so my journey began. I was a small town girl full of emotion, curiosity and imagination; little did I know it would lead me here-- to become a...
self-taught artist following a dream.
With the support of my hubby and sons, I've decided to put my art into the world. I express my internal emotions and energies onto canvas through sketching and painting animal portraits. Each individual piece carries its own unique life-like characteristics making bold, vibrant impressions.
